SUPPORT STAFF DAY CELEBRATION AT DMA

Today, on a bright sunny morning, Dayawati Modi Academy paid its respects to the support staff of the Academy by organizing a special assembly. The day started with the morning prayer where each and everyone sought the blessings of the Almighty. This was followed by garlanding and applying tilak to our pillars of strength-academy’s support staff by members of the Student Council.
The programme began with Saraswati Vandana, a solo dance presented by Tulika, 9A. Arjun Omrey of 9K presented the Thought for the Day. Sahil Tomar of 9K delivered a thought provoking speech highlighting the contribution made by our support staff which has always placed the academy at greater heights as they play key roles. He emphasized the point that every piece of work is important and each one who is performing that should be respected and cared for. Prashasti of 11M recited a beautiful poem where she expressed her gratitude to the support staff. A skit was performed by the students of class 9 and 11 depicting the importance of every little work. We should not demean anybody who contributes to the growth of the academy. Every individual has his own place in the academy. A mellifluous song was presented by Nehru House students which resonated in the serene atmosphere of the academy. It emphasized that every individual should be educated whatever work he does.
Mr Anuj Tyagi, represented Nehru House delivering a speech highlighting the importance of work done by our support staff. He thanked every member of the support staff who has relentlessly worked for the growth of the academy.
Eco club of the school exhibited the need to keep the school premises clean with the help of  placards and also undertook a cleanliness drive in the school campus. Gifts were distributed among the support staff as a token of love and gratitude. This was followed by a song by Shri Nitin and mesmerized everybody. Shri Brij Mohan Sharma, too, shared his thoughts and told the students to study hard for a better future. Support staff expressed their regards to the Principal by presenting a bouquet.
 Revered Principal Dr (Mrs) Ritu Dewan, in her speech told the students to imbibe the values and be a good human being. We all must express our thanks and gratitude to the support staff who keep our school premises spic and span and help in smooth functioning of the academy. We must contribute in helping others by keeping ourselves and the environment clean. Students must seek the blessings of our support staff. A sumptuous lunch was also served to all the support staff on the occasion.
The assembly concluded with the rendition of national anthem by one and all.
