Junior NCC Cadets in DMA organized Plastic Free Earth programme on World Earth Day under PuneetSagarAbhiyan programme on 25th April 2022. The NCC cadets made the general public aware about the environmental harm caused by the use of plastics. They inspired the people to reduce the use of plastics and polythene in their daily life and keep away from the diseases caused by the toxic material. They exhorted people to use cloth bags or recycled paper bags as a safe alternative to the polythene bags. The Principal Dr (Mrs) Ritu Dewan expressed her pleasure for the efforts made by the cadets to create a plastic free environment. She encouraged them to keep working for the betterment of the society and the environment.
