STAFF MEETING (31ST March 2022)

The academic session 2021-22 came to an end with a staff meeting on 31st March 2022. The meeting began w with a presentation given by Ms Anita Dogra, CHC and senior faculty member (Dept. of English). The main highlights of the presentation were SEO (Search Engine Optimization), a program based on the concepts of Design Thinking, Problem solving  attitude, Competency Based Education, Critical thinking, Collaboration etc.

After the informative presentation Mr. MukulGupta (Dept. of Physics) substantiated on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).He elaborated on objectives of IPR, Trade secret,Patents etc.

Ms Chetna Agarwal (Dept. of Maths)later shared the details of the Khan Academy, a non-profitable Educational Organisation providing online learning resources in the form of assignments, videos, and recorded lectures,thus helping teachers and students filling the gap in learning concepts of maths. This concept will be implemented in classes 7, 8 and 9.

After the inaugural session, Honourable Principal Dr (Mrs) Ritu Dewan introduced and initiated the road map for session 2022-23. She began with the information on capacity building workshops organized by CBSE which all faculty members have attended in previous years. Along with these workshops, in-house trainings are also being organized for the teachers in current session. She further elaborated on two important areas which need strengthening i.e. Academics and Discipline. The points which she stressed 

upon were as under:

i.   Setting the mood from the beginning.

ii. Ritual of saying prayers at arrival and departure to be followed religiously.

iii. Stem Lab. for class vii and viii will be functional in the current session 2022 - 23.

iv. Assessment to be planned after each unit / chapter.

v. Deadlines to be given to the students to complete their work. Correction of the notebooks to be done simultaneously.

Vice Principal Mr Kapil Christopher also apprised the staff members regarding guidelines for strengthening academics which are as under:

i.  English communication to be a priority for all to follow.

ii.  Students to maintain notebooks for all subjects.

iii.  Students to be encouraged to move in linear motion within the campus.

iv.  Project based learning. AIL to be integrated in all the subjects.

v.  Pep talks to be given to the students to groom their personalities.

vi.  Spiritual potion to be given to the students for better concentration and mental wellbeing.
